“This place was magnificent, the owners wife came down and cooked us dinner on their night off when they were closed. One of the locals dropped his pants while we were eating, 10/10 experience. Geniuely incredible, will be back.”

“Under new ownership. Make sure you visit this pub. It's got a great beer garden out the back and an open fire in the bar for those cold days. We went 4wd-ing near Mt Walker and dropped in here afterwards for a coldie.”

“Was their on a friday in February with our 4x4 club, really good atmosphere and new owners have done a fine job on the place and beer garden, we won both meat raffles to our amazement. !!. The meat on the tray, well best I've tried in a number of years. A great little stopover and glad to support them.”

“A fantastic atmospheric little pub. A small selection of beer but the BX lager from Bathurst is a great VB substitute. Ordered 2 steak sandwichs for lunch and were the best we have ever had, the steak from a local Butcher was sooo tender. Marking service down one as it did take quite a while for the meal. This pub is 100% worth the trip even with the drama of having to go through Lithgow if coming from the East.”
